Our Story
OLCA was founded by two teachers who possessed not only a passion for teaching, but a passion for students. Pam Kennon and Carly Nails decided to take a leap of faith and start their own learning center to be the first of its kind, designed to put students first. The idea behind Oconee Learning Center & Academy was to build a program that

Pam Kennon and Carly Nails decided to take a leap of faith and start their own learning center to be the first of its kind, designed to put students first. The idea behind Oconee Learning Center & Academy was to build a program that valued students as individuals, seeking to highlight their strengths and offer tools to assist in coping with their weaknesses. With a combined 50 years experience in Education, Pam and Carly have found that putting students’ well being FIRST produces an overall better morale, motivation and academic success. We would love for you to join our OLCA Family and offer your child the chance to become a brighter, happier, lifelong learner!

teacher makes a student feel seen and understood, it can lead to incredible learning. Whe
